INTERNATIONAL MULTIDISCIPLINARY HPV CONGRESS
MARCH 13-16, 2024
Waterfront Congress Centre

Session Highlight
Research to advance prevention of cervical and HPV-related cancers among women living with HIV
Research to advance prevention of cervical and HPV-related cancers among women living with HIV by A. Giuliano and V. Sahasrabuddhe
Cervical and HPV-related cancer incidence is disproportionately higher among persons living with HIV residing in low and middle-income countries as well as in low-resource communities in high income countries. The US NCI Division of Cancer Prevention has developed two cooperative agreement networks to evaluate the efficacy, effectiveness, and implementation of novel approaches for cervical cancer screening and precancer treatment approaches among persons with HIV. In this session the designs and results of these multiple research trials will be presented.
